A common conspiracy theory that billionaire George Soros has connections to voting machines in U.S. elections is cropping up again. But the philanthropist has no investment in any company that makes the machines.

He called the Instagram post’s claim"bogus" and"nonsensical."for financing elections, which includes purchasing voting equipment. State and federal governments also provide some funding.
