We're bringing you live updates from Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips on now, with the Tories' double by-election defeat and the Israel-Hamas conflict on the agenda. Guests today include immigration minister Robert Jenrick and Palestinian ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot.
Moving onto domestic issues, Trevor Phillips asks Robert Jenrick about the two major by-election failures this week. He also claimed Tory voters 'didn't turn out' rather than being 'switchers' to Labour. Mr Jenrick added: 'We have to motivate people to vote Conservative and they key there is delivering for the public'.Pressed on whether the government is achieving on its pledges, including on 'stopping the boats' crossing the Channel, the minister says they are 'working around the clock'.
