A Labour frontbencher has suggested the debate over whether Oxford University;'s Cecil Rhodes statue should be taken down should be reopened. Two years ago the imperialist;'s statue was the subject of a campaign to get it removed, called Rhodes Must Fall. But owner Oriel College said there had been 'overwhelming' support for it to remain.
