As the Middle East teeters on the brink of war, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Opposition Leader Peter Dutton have found themselves on opposing sides regarding the nation’s foreign policy.
Fault lines have appeared in parliament’s bipartisan support for Israel as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called for de-escalation while Opposition Leader Peter Dutton accused Labor of abandoning the Jewish state.
