: Polis sekali lagi mengingatkan orang ramai supaya tidak memasuki kawasan operasi mencari dan menyelamat mangsa tanah jerlus di Jalan Masjid India kerana ia boleh mengganggu usaha pencarian.

Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman berkata mereka juga perlu mengelak daripada memasuki kawasan itu susulan satu lagi insiden mendapan tanah semalam hingga menyebabkan jalan di sepanjang Masjid India terpaksa ditutup. “Saya juga ingin nasihatkan semua supaya patuhi nasihat anggota polis, jangan sewenang-wenangnya melalui kawasan yang tidak dibenarkan. Lanjutan mendapan kedua semalam, saya tak mahu ada apa-apa berlaku,” katanya pada sidang media di Jalan Masjid India hari ini.

Pada Jumaat lepas, mangsa yang dikenali sebagai G. Vijaya Lakshmi, 48, hilang selepas terjatuh ke lubang sedalam lapan meter susulan insiden tanah jerlus itu. Mangsa yang berada di negara ini bersama keluarga untuk melancong dilaporkan sedang berjalan di kawasan berkenaan menuju ke sebuah kuil berhampiran bagi bersarapan sebelum kejadian itu berlaku.Nur Syaiful misses final spot in 200m freestyle at Paris Paralympics
