UPDATE: On Friday night just before 10:30 p.m., Round Rock Police announced on X that a second suspect had been taken into custody.According to an arrest affidavit , Ricky Tyrone Thompson III, 17, admitted to police that he fired a 9mm gun three times during the Round Rock Juneteenth shooting, striking a 17-year-old male victim in the leg, and a second juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident that killed two women and injured 14 others.
One of the 14 people injured in the shooting was a 17-year-old male who later went to St. David's Hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound, the affidavit states.
