ALEA has not provided any specific details on the situation, but WSFA 12 News viewers report witnessing a high speed chase involving numerous law enforcement vehicles, as well as a helicopter. The situation started around 12:20 p.m., an ALEA spokesperson said. All lanes of the interstate are closed near the 192 mile marker in Autauga County. That’s about six miles north of the Pine Level exit or 8 miles south of Verbena.
