Columbus police identified a third person of interest in connection with a shooting last week near Ohio State that left one dead and another wounded.
that left one person dead and another injured on North High Street near Ohio State University’s campus.of gun shots around 2:40 a.m. Friday, April 21, at the intersection of North High Street and East 12th Avenue. The gunfire reportedly erupted after a fight, police said.
Deijon Bedgood, 25, died at OSU Wexner Medical Center, while another 27-year-old man who was wounded survived, according to a police media release. Raymond Ladd, 26, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting. A second man, 25-year-old Shemar Franklin, has also been charged with murder, as well as felonious assault, but remained at-large as of Wednesday night.
