Seattle police released information on Wednesday about a car of interest in connection with a rideshare driver who was fatally shot in the Denny Triangle neighborhood in mid-September.
SEATTLE — Seattle police released information on Wednesday about a car of interest in connection withInvestigators are hoping someone recognizes a blue 2012-2014 Toyota Prius C that was seen in the area when 48-year-old Mohamed Kediye was killed.
Kediye was stopped at a light at 7th Avenue and Lenora Street at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 11 when someone pulled up next to him and fired shots into his car near Amazon’s headquarters. Kediye was picking up his last customer of the evening at that time. Kediye’s body was discovered by officers inside his vehicle. Police and first responders tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
Detectives are hoping someone recognizes the car and can provide information about anyone connected to it by calling the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000.
