The source - working to oust U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert - reported that they were approached by a man at a spa who asked about politics and indicated he knew where the source lived. Police say that story began to unravel when investigated.

Some of the information the source provided police was “inaccurate and misleading,” according to a Glenwood Springs police report.
