Injuries include broken bones, concussion, bruising and head wounds, South Yorkshire Police says.
The number of officers injured in the Rotherham hotel riot has been confirmed as 51, South Yorkshire Police said.
Police horses and dogs also suffered injuries, with one horse having to retire due to a hoof injury, a spokesperson added. The force said officers who had been unable to resume frontline duties as a result of their injuries were "now part of the team trawling through footage to gather evidence".
