"The woman had attempted to traverse the thick mud in an attempt to find land but became lost in the pitch darkness," Queensland Police said in a statement. "An officer from Coomera conducted a foot search, navigating his way through approximately 200 metres of knee-deep, and at times waist-deep, mud and thick scrub for almost an hour to locate the woman.France's tallest mountain shrinks by more than two metres in a couple of yearsOnce the officer found the woman he used a horn from a police car as a signal to his colleagues."The woman and officer were thankfully uninjured, albeit exhausted," police said.
