Police probe into Jom Ziarah programme

Kuala Lumpur police chief Azmi Abu Kassim said although the programme was cancelled yesterday, police received a report on the matter. “Police have also contacted a member of the agency involved in the programme and the individual has given an undertaking to the police to appear at the Sentul police station tomorrow,” he said when met after a programme to commemorate the 216th Police Day at KLCC in Kuala Lumpur today.
On Tuesday, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh, when winding up the Budget 2023 debate for her ministry in the Dewan Rakyat, said no Muslim is involved in the programme.
