This happened on Monday near 24505 Birnam Wood Blvd. According to Spring ISD police, the man, unprompted, blocked the school bus, walked to the door, and then displayed what the driver said looked like a gun.The bus driver and students were not injured, and police responded to the scene, removing the children from the bus and transferring them to school on another bus while the driver drove to a nearby campus. Although Spring ISD says there are no active threats to any of their campuses, police patrols are being increased around bus routes and school areas as a precaution.
