Police officer from Hemel Hempstead charged with rape

A serving Met Police officer from Hemel Hempstead has been charged with more serious sexual offences.

Jake Cummings, a Met Police officer from Hemel Hempstead, was suspended from duty after he was charged with one count of rape, two counts of stalking, and two counts of controlling and coercive behaviour.

Today , Herts Police confirmed the 23-year-old has now also been charged with a further count of rape, two counts of stalking, two counts of controlling and coercive behaviour, and three counts of voyeurism.They are reported to have taken place between July 2019 and December 2023.
