Police nab 19 for partying in Kajang condo unit during MCO

KAJANG: A party in a condominium here was shut down with the police arresting 19 people for breaching the movement control order (MCO) here.

District OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the police responded to noise complaints at the Taming Jaya-based condominium following noise complaints on April 3."A total of 19 people, aged between 20 to their early 30s, were found partying and drinking.

"Statements taken showed that the rental period began on April 1 and that the group had come from Gombak, Taman Impian Ehsan and Bandar Tun Hussein Onn," he said in a statement Saturday .In a related matter, he said that Kajang police have made a total of 66 arrests during the first phase of the MCO.
