Before this, neither DHR nor the Daleville Police Department received any official complaints against this daycare.

Those workers, Kailey Gilley and Magan Koker, are facing four counts each of aggravated child abuse.A mother took her child to the hospital after noticing bruising and swelling on her child that were not there when she dropped the child off at daycare.The parents’ answers led investigators to Happy Hearts Christian Academy Daycare.

Police confirmed there is a video related to the incident caught on that daycare’s surveillance cameras. The daycare is now closed, leaving several families without necessary childcare. Those parents are now looking for daycare openings elsewhere.
