Police say the suspect stole the victim’s vehicle after the assault.
1:48Relatives say 65-year-old Donald, who was already disabled, is in critical condition following the violent assault. He is currently on a ventilator and in a coma at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore.
A neighbor, Joycelyn Grant, described the harrowing scene as emergency workers took Donald to the hospital.
