DOTHAN, Ala. -Dothan police issued an alert on Wednesday afternoon for a missing man who they described as endangered. Daniel Peter Alexander, 55, was last seen on Hampton Way near Flowers Chapel Road.

A police statement said he was believed to be wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a backpack. He is 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 205 lbs. with grey hair and hazel eyes. . Officers are seeking public tips to check on Alexander’s welfare and are pleading with him to contact his family.
