A man died after being shot multiple times early Saturday on the North Side.
Officers responding to a call for a shooting found the man, 39, with gunshot wounds in the chest about 3:30 a.m.. He was taken to University Hospital, where he later died. A 23-year-old man was detained on the scene without incident, according to a preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department.
