Police are investigating a case of murder after a teenage boy in KwaZulu-Natal was shot dead, allegedly by his brother, while they were playing with a deceased relative's firearm. | kaveels

"It is alleged that the two boys were playing with a firearm when it accidentally went off. An investigation into how the boys got hold of the firearm is underway," police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said. "The next of kin of deceased persons who owned firearms are also urged to timeously inform the police that the owner has passed on and the police will outline the procedure on how to retain the firearm or dispose of it legally."
