Police are appealing for help to trace Leona Derbyshire's whereabouts
Merseyside Police put out an appeal for help in their search for missing 17-year-old Leona Derbyshire. The force confirmed she was last seen in the Kensington area yesterday evening, Saturday March 9.
The message, which stated that "extensive enquiries are ongoing to find her", added that officers "are increasingly concerned about her welfare". It said: "She is 5ft 7inch tall, of slim build, with brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. Leona was last seen wearing a long black coat, black leggings, a plain white hoody, grey and white Balenciaga shoes."Police are appealing for any information on her whereabouts after she was reported missing. Anyone who has seen Leona should contact police immediately via the online form here, DM @MerPolCC or contact @missingpeople on 116 000.
