A 48-year-old suspect is expected to appear before Mookgopong Magistrates Court on Tuesday 26 September 2023 facing charges of possession of illicit cigarettes.

In another unrelated incident, a tactical Operation was conducted by the members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit that resulted in the apprehension of a male suspect for possession and dealing in drugs in the Polokwane Policing area. Afterwards, Police stopped and searched the suspect, who was found in possession of Kat and Crystal meth drugs with an estimated street value of R11 000-00 and was immediately placed under arrest on the spot.
