Police ID fugitive suspect in stabbings that killed Mira Mesa woman, 87, wounded her daughter [Breaking]
Homicide detectives are searching for a man suspected of fatally stabbing an 87-year-old woman and wounding her 60-year-old daughter last week inside a Mira Mesa home, police said Thursday.was not random and the suspect, 59-year-old Anthony Dwayne Siddle, knew the victims, according to San Diego police homicide Lt. Jud Campbell.
Brandenburgh died at the scene and paramedics took the other woman to a trauma center for treatment of her injuries, police said last week. “Initial information indicates that the suspect entered the residence and immediately stabbed both victims,” Campbell said in the news release.
