A woman is in hospital and a man on the run after a brutal stabbing outside a Sydney gym, which police have described as a targeted domestic violence attack.
A woman has been allegedly stabbed in the neck, head and back by a man police believe was a former partner who lay in wait outside a Sydney gym. Emergency services were called to Crunch Fitness in Alexandria about 12.30pm on Wednesday. The 39-year-old woman suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
