Police chase ends on I-5 in Carlsbad; northbound freeway lanes closed [Breaking]
Interstate 5 was shut down to northbound traffic in Carlsbad Thursday afternoon after a pursuit ended near Poinsettia Lane, a California Highway Patrol official said.The chase ended about 12:35 p.m.
on the northbound side of the freeway near Poinsettia Lane, CHP Officer Danielle McComb said.The northbound lanes remained closed as of 1:30 p.m. McComb said northbound traffic was being diverted off the freeway at La Costa Avenue.by News Flash Media shows police armored vehicle and several other law enforcement vehicles on the freeway.
