Officers from Lancashire Constabulary attended Eastway in the Fulwood area of the city this afternoon . Picture sent to LancsLive showed two police vans parked on the side of the road with their blue lights flashing.
The force told LancsLive that "it was a concern for welfare incident". A spokesperson added: "It was a woman and has been resolved."No further details were provided about the woman or if she was taken to hospital. No injuries have been reported.
