Lots of police raced to Glasgow Green after a large-scale 'gathering'.
Officers were called to the area near Gallowgate in the east end of the city on Saturday at around 8.40pm after reports of a crowd gathered there.
The force revealed that they had officers remain in the area on patrol into the early hours of Sunday morning.An onlooker told The Scottish Sun:"Apparently a large group of football fans turned up. It seemed like they were looking for trouble. "I was surprised how many police there were. They closed off the whole street. The cops obviously got concerned."
