BERKELEY — A man suspected of shooting at an off-duty police officer last month was arrested Tuesday, police said., which happened in the 2100 block of Oregon Street about 3 p.m. Police arrested the 27-year-old on Antioch resident Tuesday.
According to police, Alameda County prosecutors will pursue felony charges of assault with a firearm, shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, and being a felon in possession of a gun. The man was arrested after law enforcement in Contra Costa County contacted him in relation to a stabbing investigation.
