Peruvian authorities have arrested President Dina Boluarte’s brother and her lawyer over influence-peddling accusations. Prosecutors arrested the president’s brother for allegedly being part of a group that trafficked influence by appointing officials in exchange for money and forcing them to collect signatures to register a political party, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
