Officials said the department continues to receive tips related to the disappearance of the 28-year-old who was last seen on July 31.Police are now requesting to hear from anyone who had contact with Mamta’s husband Naresh Bhatt between July 28 and August 5, especially those who have not been interviewed by detectives already.
On August 22, Manassas Park Police Chief Mario Lugo confirmed that Mamta is presumed dead, and Naresh was charged with concealing a dead body in connection to her disappearance.On Thursday, September 5, officers spent hours searching multiple locations in Manassas Park that they deemed “locations of interest” after reviewing recently obtained records.
