The bodies of two men found on the side of the road appeared to be bound and gagged, Akron Police confirmed. Another body was found in Copley soon after, and investigators are working to determine if the incidents are related, said police.
AKRON, Ohio - Two men were found dead in Akron on Friday, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Officials confirmed the bodies were found in a wooded area near Cordova Avenue and Redbush Avenue at 8:35 a.m.Officials confirmed the deaths appear to be double homicide, but did not elaborate further. Officials also confirmed a third body was found in Copley Township shortly after finding the two individuals.
