Lucedale Police Chief Kellum Fairley said officers arrested two men in connection to a shooting that left two people injured at Walmart.
Chief Fairley said the shooting happened outside the Walmart near the grocery entrance.LUCEDALE, Miss. - Lucedale Police Chief Kellum Fairley said Thursday that two suspects were arrested in the Lucedale Walmart shooting.Chief Fairley said Chancellor Moody , 23, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and Emanuel Williams , 20, was charged with one count of accessory after the fact.
Both were booked in the George County Regional Correctional Facility and are awaiting an initial appearance before a judge. The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information concerning this or any other crime is encouraged to contact the Lucedale Police Department at 947-3261.
