COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a double shooting in the University District Saturday evening, according to theOfficers were called to the 400 block of East 13th Avenue, near the Ohio State Fairgrounds, just after 8:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a victim, described as male, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police also found a second male victim nearby in the 400 block of East 14th Avenue with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, police said. The victim found on East 14th Avenue was later pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m.Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 .
