There’s no doubt the Pokémon video game, trading card and media franchise became an international phenomenon thanks partly to its two main fictional characters: Ash Ketchum and Pikachu.
The Pokémon Company International posted a video on Twitter Friday, saying the iconic duo’s journey will start to come to an end, paving the way for new characters.2022's top TV moments: Oscars slap, congressional docudrama, royal loss highlight year to remember"An all-new Pokémon series has been announced!" the company tweeted.
