A creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has brought the iconic protagonist’s outfit from Pokémon Legends: Arceus to the game. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has long been a source of creative artistry in the gaming community, from designing elegant island villages to everyday items like clothing. Many of these designs are inspired by other media, especially other video games, which is why this design is inspired by the recently released and very popular Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The latest addition to the Pokémon series, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, was released at the end of January. The game has already been shown to be massively popular and even critically praised compared to past Pokémon titles.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a lot more in common with Pokémon Legends: Arceus than with any previous Pokémon game. While it might not have the greatest graphics, Pokémon Legends: Arceus still has great art design, which can only serve to inspire further creative endeavors from fans.
Unfortunately, there will not be any further updates to Animal Crossing: New Horizons after the release of the paid DLC, Happy Home Paradise. This means that no matter how great a collaboration would be between it and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it’s likely not going to happen. On the bright side, with Animal Crossing fans ready to recreate video games already, it’s certainly not the last Pokémon Legends: Arceus reference that will find its way onto the tropical island.
