Poco India's lead has revealed that the Poco F6 is getting a Deadpool Edition in conjunction with the Deadpool & Wolverine movie release.
The Xbox controller is not the only thing that's celebrating the release of the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie. The Poco F6, first unveiled back in May, has also been confirmed to be getting a special edition featuring the merc with a mouth. Technically the Wolverine is there too, but he has less of the spotlight for whatever reason.
Confirmation of this comes via Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, via X, previously Twitter. Attached to the post is an image of the Poco F6 Deadpool Edition, complete with the retail box. As mentioned, while Wolverine is portrayed as a major character in the film, it's not so much with this special edition phone. The character is there, but not the name or his colour scheme.
It's worth pointing out that Himanshu hinted at the Poco F6 Deadpool Edition coming in two days, but the post itself was made yesterday evening. With that, an announcement is expected tomorrow, and likely in India. We've reached out to Xiaomi Malaysia to find out if this will be appearing in the local market, and will let you know when we find out more.
