Man United want to sign a new left-back before transfer deadline day and talks have begun with Chelsea for Marc Cucurella.
Mauricio Pochettino admitted 'things could happen' when asked about Manchester United's interest in Marc Cucurella.
Cucurella has emerged as the preferred option at Old Trafford and United have opened talks with Chelsea over a short-term deal, meaning the Spaniard could join on a season-long loan or just until the January window.Chelsea could also seek to include an option to buy in any deal and the details of the transfer are currently yet to be finalised. It's understood the clubs are in the process of negotiating a loan fee and that is the only likely stumbling block.
"And then, like you know, things happen because it is the decision of both parts, the player and the club, if something happens in the next few days we’ll communicate to you."
