Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. has ordered a revamp of some key positions in the police organization effective Monday, PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Farado confirmed on Tuesday.
Chief of the directorial staff Police Lieutenant General Michael John Dubria is the new deputy chief for operations, replacing Police Major General Jonnel Estomo.
Banac took the post as the chief of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management, which was left by Police Major General Valeriano de Leon who retired on May 7. Police Regional Office 6 chief Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco will replace Peralta as the new head of the Directorate for Operations.
