Today ended up a lot like yesterday when it comes to temperatures. In D.C., a high of 64 both days came off morning lows of 46 today and 47 yesterday. Increased cloudiness today signified a nearing weather disturbance. Some raindrops fall this evening, but they lead the way to nicer days ahead. The first of those is Tuesday.
Increased cloudiness and some showers through the evening and into early night. Rain is pretty minor, but ground wetting to perhaps a tenth of an inch or so is possible in spots that see steadier activity. It’s then our third night with most spots dropping into the 40s for lows. Skies should trend clearer late, which allows for temperatures to reach mid-40s to near 50. Some fog develops and lasts till dawn.Patchy fog early in the day aside, it should be mostly sunny.
