PRIME Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on all Vietna­mese compatriots overseas to strictly comply with rules and regulations set by the countries where they live.

“The fight against the Covid-19 pandemic still has a lot of hardships and difficulties ahead, requiring more effort from all of us, including the overseas Vietnamese community,” he wrote. Talking about the party and the government’s drastic and synchronous directions in many early prevention solutions which have been applied at higher level than World Health Organisation recommendations, Phuc said Vietnam has been taking control of the situation, achieving positive initial results with 50% of the infected people making a full recovery and zero deaths.
