Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has stuck the boot into the Greens as he announced the Labor candidate for a Queensland electorate held by the minor party.

Labor's primary vote slumped two per cent in Griffith, while it was down 2.1 per cent in Ryan. The party increased its primary vote by 2.8 per cent in Brisbane.
