Les rappels ont toujours été très courants à travers l’industrie automobile, mais il semble que depuis quelques années, ils sont plus nombreux que jamais. Tellement qu’il est impossible de tous les couvrir.
Ça illustre une chose, soit la quantité de petits problèmes qui peuvent survenir aujourd’hui en raison de la technologie souvent complexe que l’on retrouve à bord des nouveaux produits. À l’autre bout du spectre, il y a eu 11 rappels de véhicules individuels en 2021 — « un nouveau record », a noté Anson Smuts.
