Blackpool Pleasure Beach bosses have blamed a "payroll oversight" after being named and shamed for minimum wage breaches.
Among the list was national firms such as WH Smith and Marks and Spencer as well as a small number of Lancashire firms. At the seaside theme park, 12 workers had been underpaid by a combined total of £2,866.95.Asked about the matter by LancsLive, a spokesperson for blackpool-pleasure-beach>Blackpool Pleasure Beach said: "“This relates to a small payroll oversight between the years of 2017 and 2019 involving 12 people, which has since been rectified.
