Jabari Smith, Rockets players had hilarious reaction to watching Eagles fans' Super Bowl misery
A Philadelphia Eagles fan cries as they gather on Broad Street - not far from the Houston Rockets team hotel - after the Eagles lost the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.By chance the Rockets happen to be in Philadelphia to play the 76ers while the entire city has been on edge about their Eagles playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
Rockets rookie Jabari Smith, Jr., had by far the funniest reaction to dejected fans gathered on Broad Street, causing a ruckus, while the Rockets are preparing to face Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. "Hey, man. Can y’all just go to sleep, man. Y’all folks lost and y’all out beating drums, keeping me up. Man, I’m trying to sleep. I got Embiid tomorrow and y’all up beating drums. Mahomes done …,"."Please, just go to sleep, man. I know y’all are mad. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. You win some, you lose some, but you live. Y’all making all this noise man …"
In a second video, there appeared to be a skirmish on the street, to which Smith said,"Man, y’all folks fighting each other now. Y’all don’t know what to do."and Trevor Hudgins posted similar videos from their rooms, but without nearly as funny commentary.
