'Please catch them': Store clerk held at gunpoint during robbery, reward being offered to catch suspects

Investigators said it happened on June 16 around 10:30 p.m. at Little Sam's off Highway 90.

is offering a reward for information leading to the arrests of two suspects accused of holding a gas station clerk at gunpoint while stealing beer.The store’s clerk involved in the incident spoke with KENS 5 anonymously. He also shared surveillance video of the robbery.The video shows a group of men pull up to the Chevron gas station in a green Mercury Mountaineer. Two of them are then seen making their way inside the store.

The video shows the clerk freezing for a moment then turning his back. That’s when the suspects run off and hop into the vehicle. The clerk said he has worked at the store for a year now and this is the first time he has been involved in a robbery. He said he does not want to leave his job but is on edge.Crime Stoppers could pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
