Rain will arrive tonight and could be heavy at times Saturday
It's a clear, calm, and cold start to the day. Morning temperatures are in the 20s. At least we don't have to battle the wind chill! Look for abundant sunshine this morning, then increasing clouds by evening. Highs will be slightly below average, near 50 degrees. Tonight, rain will develop from south to north around midnight. Lows will be much warmer, in the low 40s.
It will be raining when you wake up Saturday, and the rain could be moderate to briefly heavy at times along and east of the Susquehanna River by afternoon. Rain will taper from west to east between 3 to 6 p.m. Expect around 1' of rain or less in far western and northwestern counties, around 1-2' generally west of the Susquehanna River, and 2-3' east.
