Playhouse Post has acquired the assets of Halo, a top UK post‑production house, after its parent Mojo Bridge entered administration. The move consolidates Playhouse's post‑production and VFX capabilities under Mark Foligno's leadership. The acquisition of Halo Post by Playhouse Post has been finalized, following the administration of Mojo Bridge, Halo's parent company, in December 2025. Halo, a leading UK post-production house with a 22-year history, will now operate under Playhouse's studio infrastructure.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction concludes a period of uncertainty after Mojo Bridge, which had previously acquired rival Evolutions in 2024 and was itself bought by Envy post house in 2025, faced insolvency. Insolvency firm Oury Clark managed the asset sale.
Playhouse, which also owns LipSync, will integrate Halo's team and capabilities into its unified operation, offering comprehensive services including picture finishing, sound, VFX, color grading, and delivery from its Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision facilities. A refurbishment of the Noel Street site is ongoing this summer. Mark Foligno, former head of LipSync, will lead the new combined entity. He emphasized that Halo's reputation for creative excellence and technical expertise significantly strengthens Playhouse Post's high‑end offerings for projects of all scales.
Meanwhile, TriStar Pictures has secured the feature film rights to Trevor Henderson's viral horror character 'Cartoon Cat', a popular internet myth.
