Athens celebrates the title win over Hartselle during the AHSAA Class 6A softball state championship at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Ala., Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Eight players of the year highlight today’s release of the Alabama Sports Writers Association high school softball all-state team.
Miss Softball and the Super All-State team, regardless of class, will be announced at the ASWA annual banquet on Sunday in Jacksonville. Members of either the first or second team include a five-time all-state selection and 11 named for the fourth time.
