Georgia's Jordan Davis could project a lot like a current Pro Bowler. Texas A&M's DeMarvin Leal has the potential to follow in the footsteps of a long-time NFL vet. Check out all of 2flyyJJ's top DT player comps 👇 FrontOffice33 | NFLDraft

As this year’s draft rapidly approaches, football fans across the country are eagerly waiting to see where college football stars will land. One of the most important things when looking at where prospects could potentially land is comparisons. These are my comparisons for the top interior linemen in the 2022 draft class.was a featured part of Georgia’s historical defense for good reason.

Davis projects to be like former first-round pick Vita Vea. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Vea with the 12th pick of the 2018 draft, and he and Davis produced similar numbers in their final collegiate campaigns. Both players showed elite run-stuffing abilities and made it nearly impossible for quarterbacks to step up in the pocket on passing downs. Though Vea has not been a sack machine in the league, he did make the Pro Bowl this year, showing his value in a dominant Bucs defense.

Though Wyatt does not have ideal length, he makes up for it with his first-step explosiveness and relentless motor. Wyatt’s college stats look almost identical to former Dallas Cowboys’ pick Maliek Collins, who has been more than productive since entering the league in 2016 as an interior pass rusher.was a three-year starter for Texas A&M after being one of the first big recruits for Head Coach Jimbo Fisher.

Looking at his film and production level throughout his collegiate career, Leal reminds me of former second overall pick Ndamukong Suh. Though those are high standards, Leal is young and has the athleticism and potential to grow into one of the most dominant interior linemen in the league.was a two-year starter for the Oklahoma Sooners, who lined up all over the defensive front. He combined his versatility with his size and length to produce 5.

Winfrey’s size and play style are reminiscent of Fletcher Cox as he was leaving Mississippi State. Though we will have to see if he can develop into the dominant player that Cox became in Philadelphia, Winfrey has shown the potential to wreak havoc on offenses for years to come.Written By:Jordan Butler is an intern contributing to both TDN’s scouting and content departments.
